Context

Technology in Agritech

We build grower and field applications, traceability platforms from lot to shelf, machinery and sensor integration, and the compliance reporting that buyers and regulators now demand at plot level. Two constraints shape almost every decision: connectivity is unreliable where the work happens, and the person entering data is wearing gloves in the rain with one hand on a gate.

Deforestation due diligence rules have made plot geometry and supply chain provenance a market access question rather than a sustainability report, which changes how much rigour the data needs. Satellites help, but they will not tell you a crop's nitrogen status through ten days of cloud, so we design for gaps and mixed sources rather than promising a continuous feed that the weather will interrupt.

  • Plot-level due diligence for market access

    Deforestation regulations require geolocation of the plot of production and evidence of legality for every consignment. Cooperatives supplying thousands of smallholders have names and volumes but no polygons, and the deadline is not negotiable.

  • Connectivity that fails where the work is

    Fields, packhouses and remote yards have intermittent coverage at best. Applications that assume a connection produce lost records, duplicate entries and a workforce that goes back to a notebook within a fortnight.

  • Machinery data split across proprietary silos

    ISOBUS task data, telematics portals and vendor-specific APIs each hold part of the picture with different field boundaries and units. Merging them for a simple cost-per-hectare figure means resolving geometry conflicts nobody owns.

  • Traceability under recall pressure

    When a contamination alert lands, the question is which lots went where and within hours. Mass balance across blending, splitting and reprocessing steps is usually reconstructed manually from paperwork held at three sites.

    Local-first data with deterministic conflict resolution, queued media upload and interfaces designed for large targets and gloved hands. A day without coverage is a normal operating condition rather than an incident to recover from.

  • Plot geometry and due diligence records

    Polygon capture in the field or from existing registries, validated for overlap and area, joined to consignment records with the evidence retained per shipment so a customer's compliance team can be answered from the system.

  • Machinery and sensor integration

    Task and telemetry data normalised into one field and operation model, with unit conversion and boundary reconciliation made explicit and reviewable rather than hidden in an import script that silently drops mismatches.

  • Lot traceability with mass balance

    Every transformation recorded as inputs and outputs with quantity reconciliation, so a recall query resolves to affected lots and customers in minutes and the numbers add up when a certifier checks them.
