Know who is in the building
and why

Pre-registered QR passes, contractor document checks that block the gate, badge provisioning into your existing access control, and a roll call that works when the alarm sounds. Bought by security teams, not by marketing.

Overview

Visitor, contractor and delivery access control for multi-site campuses.

A sign-in book tells you nothing during an evacuation. This product replaces it with a live occupancy record: hosts invite visitors by email or calendar, the visitor arrives with a QR pass and clears the gate in 18 seconds, and a temporary badge is provisioned into Lenel or Genetec with a zone profile that expires at check-out. Contractors cannot enter until induction is complete and insurance, licences and safety certificates are in date, so expiry blocks the gate rather than surfacing months later in an audit.

When a roll call is triggered, every occupant on site appears on the wardens' phones with a mark-safe action and a live count of who is unaccounted for. Retention is your decision: photos purged at 30 days, entry logs kept for a year, deletions run on schedule and recorded. This is a front-of-house and gate system, not an access control platform in its own right, and it does not replace your card readers. A single-door office with ten visitors a week does not need it.

Capabilities

What it does

  • Pre-registration and QR passes

Hosts invite visitors by email or calendar; the visitor arrives with a QR pass, scans at the gate and is through in 18 seconds without repeating details at a desk.

  • Kiosk check-in and identity capture

Capture identity documents, take a photograph and screen against your own denied-entry list at the kiosk. What is stored and for how long is your configuration.

  • Contractor induction and document expiry

Contractors cannot enter until induction is complete and insurance, licences and safety certificates are in date. Expiry blocks the gate rather than surfacing in an audit.

  • Host notification across channels

The host is notified on Teams, Slack, SMS or email the moment their visitor checks in, with escalation to a nominated backup host after a configurable wait period.

  • Badge and turnstile provisioning

Issue a temporary badge with a zone profile that expires at the end of the visit, provisioned into Lenel or Genetec and revoked automatically the moment the visitor leaves.

  • Emergency roll call

Trigger a roll call and every occupant, staff and visitor alike, appears on the wardens' phones with a mark-safe action and a running count of who is unaccounted for.

  • Retention and purge policy

Set retention per data type and site: photographs purged at 30 days, entry logs kept for a year. Deletions run on schedule and are written to the audit trail.

  • Multi-site and multi-tenant operation

Run 40 buildings from one tenancy with per-site policy, or give each tenant in a shared building their own hosts, visitors and reporting behind a common lobby desk.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Does it replace our access control system?

No, and it should not. Your card readers, controllers and door hardware stay as they are. This sits in front of them, deciding who is entitled to a credential and for how long, then provisioning and revoking through the access control system's own interface.

What happens if the network or the kiosk fails?

Gate devices hold a local cache of expected visitors and valid contractor credentials, so check-in continues offline and syncs on reconnect. Reception can also check a visitor in from a phone. Roll call falls back to the last synced occupancy list with the sync time shown.

How do you handle visitor personal data?

You decide what is collected and how long it is kept, per site and per data type, and the system enforces it. Photographs and identity scans can be disabled entirely, retention windows trigger scheduled deletion, and every purge is recorded in the audit trail with the record count.

We reply within one working day, and the first call is with an engineer who would actually work on it — not an account manager. If we are not the right studio for the problem, we will say so on that call.
