The gap between what the system says and what is on the rack is where working capital goes to die. This product closes it by tracking quantity at item, batch, bin and ownership level, running counts on handhelds that keep working when the network drops, and holding variances above your tolerance for approval before they touch the ledger. Landed cost apportions freight, duty and insurance so gross margin per SKU reflects what the goods actually cost to get to the door.
Receiving supports over-and-under tolerance, sampling plans and quarantine bins that cannot be picked from until quality releases them. Picking strategies are configured per item class rather than coded. It is a stock and warehouse system, not a transport management or full ERP replacement. A single-site business with fewer than 400 SKUs and no batch traceability requirement will not earn back the implementation.

What it does
Bin-level stock positions
Track quantity by item, batch, bin and ownership, so "we have 400" becomes "380 in A-12-03, 20 on quality hold, none of it allocated to an open order".
Handheld scanning that works offline
Android handhelds and Zebra scanners carry on when warehouse Wi-Fi drops. Scans queue on the device and reconcile on reconnect with a conflict report for the supervisor.
Batch and serial genealogy
Trace a batch forward to every customer who received it and back to the supplier lot. A recall query returns the list in seconds instead of a week of paperwork.
Configurable picking strategies
First-expiry-first-out for perishables, first-in-first-out for commodity stock, fixed-bin for fast movers. Strategy is set per item class as configuration, not custom code.
Valuation and landed cost
Weighted average or FIFO valuation with freight, duty and insurance apportioned into landed cost, so gross margin per SKU reflects what the goods actually cost to land.
Cycle counting with variance control
Schedule counts by ABC class, blind-count on the handheld, and hold any variance above your tolerance for approval before it is allowed to post to the ledger.
Reorder points and safety stock
Reorder point and safety stock computed from lead-time variability and demand history per site, producing a suggested buy list you can edit before it becomes a requisition.
Receipt with quality hold
Receive against a purchase order with over and under tolerance, run sampling plans, and park stock in quarantine bins that cannot be picked until quality signs it off.

Questions we get asked
- Can it run alongside SAP or NetSuite rather than replacing them?
That is the common deployment. The ERP stays the book of record for finance; this holds the operational stock detail at bin, batch and serial level and posts summarised movements back on a schedule you set. Reconciliation reports show any line that failed to post rather than letting it drift quietly.
- What hardware do the handhelds need?
Android 10 or later with a hardware scan trigger. Zebra and Honeywell devices are the usual choices. Bluetooth ring scanners paired to a phone also work. Label printing supports ZPL, so most existing Zebra printers can be reused without replacement.
- How do you handle third-party owned stock?
Ownership is a first-class attribute on the stock record, so consignment, customer-owned and bonded stock sit in the same warehouse without polluting your valuation. Reports split owned from held quantity, and picking rules can exclude stock you do not own.
